Attend: Special Screenings
25th Annual Madison Polish Film Festival, sponsored by UW-Madison Polish Student Association
It has been a busy couple of weeks for film on campus, and the 25th Annual Madison Polish Film Festival officially kicked off last weekend with one screening of Call Me Marianna, after the conclusion of the Sunday lineup at the WUD Marquee Film Festival. But there’s still plenty of contemporary Polish film to catch in the coming weeks with two sets of double features before and after Thanksgiving week.
The Festival’s sponsor, the Polish Student Association, has posted brief descriptions and trailers at the Polish Film Festival website. For your convenience, we have posted the trailer for each remaining film below.
Additional sponsors include the Center For Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia; Department of Slavic Languages and Literature; Wisconsin Union Directorate Film Committee; and Associated Students of Madison.
