The Madison Film Forum is committed to providing you with opportunities to stream interesting movies and provide a wider context around the area’s theatrical screenings. With an eye toward this year’s Wisconsin Film Festival, we thought we would provide a resource whereby you would have “one-stop shopping” to look at other films by directors whose films are playing in this year’s festival. To provide wider coverage of some directors whose work may be available only on disc, we have also included some titles that are available through the Madison Public Library System.
The festival films are listed in alphabetical order. Not every festival film is listed, only those by directors who have previous work accessible via streaming methods or the MPLS. Under each title, you will see posters for films by that same director. Click on the poster and you will be taken to a site where you will have the opportunity to either rent the film or stream it for free (or place a hold on a library copy, if necessary). The red title links will bring you to the 2014 Wisconsin Film Festival film guide.
This first of two installments covers this year’s film festival titles starting with the letters A-L. You can find M-Z here.
