This week kicks off the Marcus Theaters’s 1987 Retro Series for the month of November, for all of you who were tired of all that 1985/1989 Back to the Future jazz.
First up, Rob Reiner’s charming fantasy, The Princess Bride, starring Robin Wright (pre-Penn, now she’s post-Penn) and Cary Elwes. Besides the central romance, you also get great tête-à-tête scenes between Peter Falk and Fred Savage in the frame story.
If you miss it tonight, Marcus Point and Marcus Palace will also screen the film Wednesday night.
