Our usual weeknight Madfilm Meetups rarely work well with lengthy Bollywood (Hindi language) and Tollywood (Telugu language) films playing at AMC Star Fitchburg 18, so we will experiment with our new Bollywood/Tollywood Matinees followed by a trip to a nearby Indian restaurant.
Movie (12:45): Power (K.S. Ravindra, India, 2014, 150 min) The latest star vehicle for Ravi Teja, with music by S. Thaman. This will be a matinee-priced screening, and advance tickets are available at the AMC Theaters website.
Food (around 3:45): Curry in the Box, 3050 Cahill Main #4, Fitchburg.
Power has its global opening on Friday so advance reviews are hard to find, but I will follow up with posts to the event page. Meanwhile I have posted some articles about Power on our Flipboard Magazine:
